At Burning Man, Camp Arachnid is known for its friendly, hands-on classes in rope bondage
and other BDSM topics. We teach creative, sensual exploration in a supportive environment.
All experience levels are welcome.
Schedule overview
2PM - Free rope workshop
3PM-6PM - ($25) Two tracks of classes (see below)
8PM - ($15) Play party with fire show and rope/bondage fashion contest
Whole day paid at the door: $35. Whole day paid in advance: $35, and includes a brisket
and pulled pork dinner at 6PM. Advance payment is accepted via Paypal at events@edges.biz.
The 2PM class, a hands-on introduction to sensual rope play, has been taught to over a
thousand people at Burning Man, and featured on HBO... And just as at Burning Man, it's free!
Then we're on to the paid part of our program. You're welcome to pick any session, or
just hang out and ask our camp members for rope tips at any time!
Track 1
3:00PM - Intermediate rope, with Tomfoolery
Additional decorative and functional ties. Focus on predicament bondage.
4:30PM - Advanced shibari, with David El
More complex full-body ties, suspension elements.
Track 2
3:00PM - Training to orgasm on command, with Lord Dmitri
Admit it, you're curious.... Class participants will be able to volunteer as demonstration models.
4:30PM - Military interrrogation scenes, with Omega
Heavy interrogation play, viewer discretion advised.
Evening activities
6:00PM - We provide dinner for those who paid in advance
8:00PM - dungeon opens
9:30PM - fire dance performance
11:00PM - fashion contest
